Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to tickets purchased for Girl Dinner: After Hours.
By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. The Event
Event: Girl Dinner: After Hours
Ticket price: £65 per person
The event is a ticketed dining and social experience organised by The Girl Dinner Diaries and hosted at Slieve Donard Resort & Spa.
Event timings, menus, drinks and other elements of the experience may be subject to reasonable change where necessary.
2. Tickets & Booking
Tickets are sold on a per-person basis.
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and you have received a booking confirmation.
Please ensure that the information provided at the time of booking is accurate, including:
Your full name and email address
The full names of all guests included in your booking
Dietary requirements and allergies
Welcome drink preference
Dessert choices
Any seating requests
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all information provided for their booking is accurate.
Tickets are limited and subject to availability.
3. Ticket Transfers & Changes
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a different Girl Dinner: After Hours event date.
If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person, provided you notify The Girl Dinner Diaries at least 72hrs in advance of the event.
To transfer a ticket, please email us with:
The original booking name
The booking email address
The full name of the new guest
The new guest info including - dietary requirements/allergies, welcome drink choice, dessert choices.
The new guest must attend under the same ticket and booking conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse a transfer where the required information has not been provided or where the request is made too late for us to reasonably update the guest list.
Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or credit towards a future event.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Because Girl Dinner: After Hours is a specific-date event, tickets are non-refundable in the event of a change of mind or inability to attend.
If you can no longer attend, please use the ticket transfer process outlined above.
If The Girl Dinner Diaries cancels the event, or if we are unable to provide the event as booked, we will contact ticket holders with information about the available options, which may include a refund where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any legal rights you may have as a consumer.
5. Event Details, Menu & Drinks
The menu and experience advertised at the time of booking represent the intended event offering.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the menu, drinks, suppliers, entertainment, styling or other event elements where necessary, including due to availability, venue requirements or circumstances outside our control.
The menu and drinks described on the event page are the menu planned for the evening without changes.
6. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
Guests must provide accurate and complete dietary requirements and allergy information at the time of booking.
Where a booking includes multiple guests, the person making the booking is responsible for providing the correct information for each guest.
Please be as specific as possible when describing allergies or dietary requirements.
Dietary requirements and allergy information will be shared with the relevant venue and catering team where necessary to provide the event safely.
While we and the venue will take reasonable steps to accommodate information provided to us, we cannot accept responsibility for reactions or issues arising from information that has not been disclosed, has been provided inaccurately, or where a guest consumes food or drink contrary to advice given at the event.
If you have a severe or potentially life-threatening allergy, please contact us before booking so that we can discuss whether we can safely accommodate your requirements.
7. Seating Requests
We will do our best to accommodate seating requests, including requests to sit with friends who have booked separately.
However, seating requests are not guaranteed.
Please include the full names of anyone you would like to sit with when completing your booking.
8. Photography, Video & Content
Photography and video may take place throughout Girl Dinner: After Hours for the purposes of documenting and promoting The Girl Dinner Diaries and the event.
By attending the event, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs or video captured during the evening.
Where we intend to use identifiable guest content specifically for promotional purposes, we will seek appropriate permission where required.
If you have concerns about appearing in event photography or video, please contact us before the event so that we can discuss your options.
Please note that due to the nature of a social event, we cannot guarantee that guests will not appear incidentally in background photography or video.
9. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the event.
The Girl Dinner Diaries is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought to the event, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Please follow any instructions provided by Slieve Donard Resort & Spa regarding personal belongings, coats and other items.
10. Behaviour & Venue Rules
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, event staff, venue staff and suppliers.
Guests must comply with the reasonable rules and instructions of Slieve Donard Resort & Spa and The Girl Dinner Diaries.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask a guest to leave where their behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, disruptive, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate.
No refund will be provided where a guest is refused entry or removed from the event due to their own behaviour.
11. Alcohol
Where alcoholic drinks are served, guests must comply with applicable licensing laws and the rules of the venue.
Guests must be of the legal drinking age and may be asked to provide valid proof of age.
The venue reserves the right to refuse alcohol service where appropriate.
Guests are responsible for drinking responsibly.
12. Arrival & Event Timing
Guests should arrive from the advertised arrival time to allow the event to begin promptly.
The advertised finish time may be described as “late”, meaning there is no fixed public finish time for the social element of the evening.
The organised dinner experience will have its own schedule, after which guests may continue their evening at the venue, subject to venue opening hours and availability.
Event timings may change slightly and guests will be informed of any significant changes where reasonably possible.
13. Venue
Girl Dinner: After Hours takes place at Slieve Donard Resort & Spa.
Guests must comply with all reasonable venue policies and instructions.
The Girl Dinner Diaries is responsible for organising the event but does not control the venue's independent operations, facilities or services.
14. Event Changes or Postponement
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver the event as advertised.
However, circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally require us to change the date, venue, menu, timings or other elements of the event.
If a significant change or postponement becomes necessary, we will contact affected ticket holders using the contact information provided at booking and explain the available options.
15. Circumstances Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing the event where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, venue closure, government restrictions, public health emergencies, industrial action, significant transport disruption or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where such circumstances affect the event, we will communicate with ticket holders as soon as reasonably possible and provide information about any available options.
16. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
17. Personal Information
We collect and use information provided during booking to administer your ticket, manage the guest list, communicate important event information and coordinate dietary and other requirements.
Information relating to dietary requirements and allergies may be shared with the venue and catering team where necessary to provide the event.
We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
